This win sees the Dragons climb to within just two points of the Super League table’s summit, with Hull KR sitting in fourth and the Catalans in fifth.
Wigan Warriors, who currently hold all four available trophies, lead the way at the top with 26 points, four clear of second-placed St Helens. The two rivals are set to clash in a highly anticipated derby match on Friday at the Brick Community Stadium. It’s worth noting that Wigan have a game in hand over Saints, with their rearranged fixture against the Leigh Leopards scheduled for Tuesday, August 6.
Meanwhile, third-placed Warrington Wolves and Hull KR are level on points with St Helens, trailing them only on points difference. The race for the Super League play-offs is heating up, with just four points separating the teams in second to seventh position.
