England Rugby League Team to Face Samoa in Highly Anticipated Two-Match Test Series
The English rugby league team is set to face off against Samoa in a highly anticipated two-match Test series this autumn. The series, sponsored by ABK Beer, will take place on Sunday, October 27th at The Brick Community Stadium in Wigan and on Saturday, November 2nd at AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium in Leeds.
This will be Samoa’s first-ever Test series in England, and it offers Head Coach Shaun Wane and his England squad an opportunity to avenge their bitter defeat against Samoa in the 2022 Rugby League World Cup semi-final.
In a recent episode of The Last Tackle podcast, Wane expressed his excitement about the upcoming fixtures.
“I’m really pumped for the news of the Test series coming up,” he said. “To get these games on is tremendous, and it’s great for our competition to build on what we did last year against Tonga.”
Wane emphasized the importance of the players enjoying their time representing England and the pride they feel to don the national jersey. He acknowledged the disappointment of the World Cup semi-final loss, but views this series as a chance to “put things right” against a Samoa team that was the better side on the day.
Tickets for the England vs. Samoa Test series are now available for purchase, with prices starting at £25 for adults and £12.50 for under-16s per match. Those booking 10 or more tickets can save 20%, with prices reduced to £20 for adults and £10 for under-16s.
This rugby league fixtures is sure to be a must-watch event for any true fans of the sport, as England looks to bounce back from their World Cup heartbreak and establish their dominance in the international arena.
