The Chiefs Dominate Reds in Super Rugby Pacific Quarterfinal
In a decisive quarterfinal match of the 2023 Super Rugby Pacific season, the Chiefs became the first team to secure a spot in the semi-finals with a convincing 43-21 victory over the Reds at their home ground in Hamilton on Friday.
The star of the show for the Chiefs was once again their All Blacks fly-half Damian McKenzie, who put on an attacking masterclass and finished the match with a personal tally of 13 points, courtesy of five successful conversions and a penalty.
The home side’s other points were scored through tries from:

For the Reds, Tate McDermott scored a brace of tries, while Lawson Creighton also crossed the line. Lawson and Tom Lynagh were successful with two conversions for the visitors.
