“When a club like Hull FC wants to bring you in, you tend to sit up and listen, and I’m really excited to join a club like this for 2025.” – Zak Hardaker
Speaking on his upcoming switch to Hull FC, Hardaker expressed his enthusiasm, stating: “When a club like Hull FC wants to bring you in, you tend to sit up and listen, and I’m really excited to join a club like this for 2025.” The versatile back also highlighted his fondness for the MKM Stadium, saying, “The MKM Stadium has always been a place I’ve loved to come and play at, so I’m looking forward to be calling that my new home ground from next season.”
Alongside Hardaker, Hull FC will also welcome Leigh Leopards captain John Asiata on a three-year deal, as well as Salford Red Devils hooker Amir Bourouh and playmaker Jordan Abdull. Director of Rugby Richie Myler praised Hardaker’s wealth of experience, saying, “Zak has achieved almost everything there is to achieve in the sport – he is a winner, and we’re hoping he can become one of our key figures over the next couple of years.”
The addition of Hardaker is expected to bolster Hull FC’s squad depth and provide valuable guidance for their talented young outside backs, including Logan Moy, Lewis Martin, and Harvey Barron.
