Despite being put under early pressure, Leo Cullen’s men found their rhythm as the match progressed. Robbie Henshaw’s try in the 20th minute sparked Leinster’s surge, with James Lowe adding a second score before the halftime break. Fly-half Ross Byrne’s accurate kicking ensured Leinster held a comfortable 17-0 lead at the interval.
Ulster did manage to get on the scoreboard in the second half through a John Cooney penalty and further tries from David McCann, Stewart Moore and Michael Lowry.
