Jayden Sullivan Set to Join Super League in 2025, But Not Hull FC
Wests Tigers Half-Back’s Future Remains Uncertain
Jayden Sullivan, the Wests Tigers half-back, is set to join the Super League in 2025, but not with Hull FC as previously suggested, according to the latest report from Love Rugby League.
The 22-year-old, who started his career with St George in the NRL, made the move to Wests Tigers at the beginning of this season. However, as the struggling NRL club embarks on a major rebuild following another season of disappointment in Australia, Sullivan is one of several players set to be granted a release at the end of the current campaign.
“While Wests Tigers have found a suitor for Sullivan, Love Rugby League has learned that it will not be Hull FC. The Black and Whites are focused on other targets, and the young playmaker has never held talks with the Super League club about a potential move.”
Instead, Sullivan looks likely to be playing in England elsewhere in 2025. There are even tentative hopes that he could be released mid-season, allowing him to take up a deal in the Super League earlier than planned.
The news comes as Love Rugby League also revealed that Wests Tigers’ centre Brent Naden will be signing for the Catalans Dragons in 2025.
As the rugby league landscape continues to evolve, with players and clubs navigating the complexities of the sport, the future of talents like Jayden Sullivan remains a topic of keen interest for rugby league enthusiasts and betting aficionados alike.
