Elsewhere, the Midlands Hurricanes bounced back from their defeat to the Choughs last weekend, securing a dominant win over Newcastle Thunder. Liam Welham starred for the hosts, becoming the first Canes player to score four tries in a single game.
Rochdale Hornets Continue Impressive Form
Rochdale Hornets also continued their impressive form, moving up to third place in the table following a ten-try victory over Workington Town. For the second week running, the Hornets racked up an impressive 56 points against their opposition, as the top end of the table heats up.
