Super League Braces for Disciplinary Decisions After Eventful Round Eight
The Super League disciplinary process is set to take center stage once again, with several teams anxiously awaiting the Match Review Panel’s verdicts following an action-packed Round Eight of fixtures.
The weekend’s results saw big wins for Huddersfield Giants and Catalans Dragons, who remain two points clear at the top of the rugby league standings. The Giants battled to a 30-24 victory over Leeds Rhinos at Headingley, while St Helens cruised to a dominant 58-0 triumph over Hull FC. Despite a promising performance, Castleford Tigers were unable to overcome Wigan Warriors, while Leigh Leopards and London Broncos came close before ultimately succumbing to Warrington Wolves and Salford Red Devils, respectively. In a surprising result, the league-leading Catalans Dragons defeated Hull KR 36-6 in Perpignan.
